GIFT OF FAITH

Updated: May 4, 2022

F.A.I.T.H. (Forever Affirmation in True Hope)

- We are all given a measure of faith, but the gift of faith is slightly different. The gift of faith is not just knowing that God will do it, it's knowing whatever we ask for is already done.

-Read Matthew 21:18-22. Verse 21-22 states, "Then Jesus told them, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don't doubt you can do all things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, 'May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea', and it may happen. You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, and receive it."

- My story of leaving my home state, Louisiana, to North Dakota can be a revelation to having faith in God. I left home with $80 and a plan to better my situation. I didn't know where I was going, my car wasn't in the best shape at the time, and I was a woman on the road by myself. The thing that kept me going was my faith in God because the only thing I had with me were a case of drinks, a box of pies, and noodles. Now that I'm revisiting that moment in my life, I knew that it was my faith that helped me get out of a horrible situation. So, no matter what circumstance you are in, knowing that God will see it through and guide you along the way, the gift of faith can help you see that your future of change is already written.
