Long Suffering (Patience)

- In Greek, Long Suffering is translated to Makrothumeo.

-In Hebrew, it is translated to Erekh Apayim.

-In Latin, Patience is translated to Patienta.

- 2 Peter 3:8-9 NLT, "But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A Day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord isnt really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed but wants everyone to repent."

-We often think about the things we go through and when it's going to end. But do we stop to think about how God feels when we mess up time and time again, when he already gave us the solution. God is not ever slacking on his promise to us, he is just patient with us because of Jesus.
